L’azzurro perde in finale per il secondo anno consecutivo, battuto da Alejandro Tabilo con il punteggio di 6-3, 2-6, 7-6 in 2 ore e 39 minuti. Un ko amaro per Musetti che ha cambiato marcia nel secondo set e non ha sfruttato due match point nel terzo parziale. Merito di Tabilo che ha coronato un torneo da favola, iniziato dalle qualificazioni e concluso con una finale di alto livello. Per Musetti è la seconda finale persa quest’anno: l’ultimo titolo Atp resta quello di ottobre 2022 a Napoli.
