Roma, 1 giu. (askanews) – Finisce agli ottavi di finale l’avventura di Jasmine Paolini al ROland Garros. Elina Svitolina batte l’azzurra 4-6, 7-6, 6-1 ed è ai quarti di finale del torneo parigino. Una sfida divisa in più parti: nel primo set Paolini era partita alla grande (andando avanti 3-0) ed è riuscita a chiudere 6-4. Nel secondo set, caratterizzato da tanto equilibrio, è invece arrivata la reazione di Svitolina che ha portato la sfida al terzo set vincendo il tiebreak e annullando tre match point (due sul 5-4, uno nel tiebreak). Nel terzo parziale, invece, non c’è stata partita: dominio di Svitolina che ai quarti di finale affronterà la vincente tra Elena Rybakina e Iga Swiatek.
