Roma, 23 giu. (askanews) – Lorenzo Sonego vince e convince all’esordio all’Atp 250 di Eastbourne. Il torinese ha sconfitto l’ungherese Fabian Marozsan, n. 58 Atp, con lo score di 6-2, 6-4 in un’ora e 19 minuti. Una buona prestazione da parte di Sonego, abile a gestire le insidie dovute al forte vento. Lorenzo ha dominato il primo parziale (in cui Marozsan ha commesso 16 gratuiti con solo 2 vincenti), poi ha indirizzato il secondo set con un break in apertura. Un parziale in cui l’azzurro è salito sia per vincenti che rendimento al servizio. Alla seconda vittoria su quattro partite giocate finora sull’erba, Sonego sfiderà al 2° turno il francese Ugo Humbert, testa di serie n. 4 del torneo. Tra i due ci sono sette precedenti: il bilancio è 4-3 per il transalpino che quest’anno ha fermato Sonego nei quarti a Marsiglia (su cemento indoor).
