Roma, 11 feb. (askanews) – Debutto con medaglia d’oro ai Mondiali di Saalbach per Mikaela Shiffrin. La fuoriclasse statunitense trascina la coppia Stati Uniti 1 nella combinata femminile a coppie. Quarte dopo la manche di discesa libera di Breezy Johnson, le americane hanno recuperato tre posizioni in slalom con Shiffrin che ha fatto segnare il terzo tempo della manche. Medaglia d’argento per le svizzere Gut-Behrami/Holdener con 10 posizioni recuperate (straordinaria prova della slalomista elvetica), bronzo alle austriache Venier/Truppe. Per Shiffrin è l’ottava medaglia d’oro ai Mondiali che arriva 12 anni dopo la prima, conquistata in slalom a Schladming 2013. Migliore coppia italiana quella formata da Nicole Delago e Marta Rossetti, ottave con 93 centesimi di ritardo sulle americane. Quattordicesimo posto per Curtoni/Peterlini, fuori in slalom la coppia Pirovano/Collomb.
