(askanews) – Il Tribunale Arbitrale dello Sport ha accolto il ricorso presentato dal Comitato Italiano Paralimpico (CIP) e da Giacomo Perini, annullando la decisione della Federazione Internazionale Canottaggio (World Rowing) che aveva escluso l’atleta dalla finale PR1 M1x dei Giochi Paralimpici di Parigi 2024. La squalifica era stata inflitta a causa del ritrovamento di un telefono cellulare a bordo dell’imbarcazione, sebbene Perini non lo avesse utilizzato durante la gara. Con questa pronuncia, il TAS ha ripristinato ufficialmente il terzo posto dell’azzurro.
